Our psychologists created our own assessments, measuring six Mental Aptitudes, ten Personality Dimensions and two validity scales designed to ascertain how accurately the person responded to the questions. Various tests were utilized for validation purposes. To date, more than two million people have been assessed on our systems with no adverse findings against any employer for their use, nor has there ever been any out-of-court settlement for any employer's use of our assessments.

Then... We created the world's leading computer PC software to compare an individual's mental aptitudes and personality traits to the aptitudes and traits (and the levels required) for success in a particular job. These aptitudes and traits then became known as "benchmarks" for that job. Benchmarks are established with our assessment system through any of the following options:

Job description- An analysis of the job description is performed by an Achievement Tec consultant who determines the traits required for success in the job, resulting in a benchmark.

Achiever data base- Achievement Tec has performed thousands of job studies, identifying the mental aptitudes and personality traits of successful people in all types of jobs within all types of companies. These studies, which represent a concurrent validation process, have resulted in a vast database of benchmarks by job. An employer may use this database to initially assess and compare applicants against.

Benchmark study- Before assessing any applicants, successful employees within a specific job within an employer are studied via the concurrent validation process, and the benchmark for that job is then established for that specific employer. This creates a customized, validated approach in the selection process. Applicants can then be assessed against the employer's specific benchmark to determine whether or not the individual has the traits necessary for success in that particular job.

CREDIBILITY

Our initial assessments were validated against other tests using accepted construct validation techniques.

Our assessments have been reviewed by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance which has stated that there is no need to validate each assessment within each company since there are no pass or fail scores and there is only a slight possibility of adverse effect on a protected group.

Achievement Tec maintains construct validity of its assessments, as well as conducting continuous ongoing concurrent validation studies for clients establishing "benchmarks" for their respective jobs.
